Dear DOZ friends,

I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying this beautiful Spring weather. This time of the year is when we see all of God’s creation coming to life with color and brilliance. Sitting out on my patio early in the morning and listening to the birds sing to the Lord, I just know that their melodious music is so pleasing to the Father. It is so sweet and comforting.

This morning I was thanking the Lord for all the blessings that He has given to me and my family and for all the prayers He has answered. I was reminded of a recent scripture in my devotion, “But even now, I know that whatsoever you ask from God, God will give you.” (John 11:22) The power behind that statement is life giving…”But even now” This passage is where Martha was grieving the death of Lazarus and sent for Jesus. When He arrived four days later, they felt it was too late. After all, he had been dead four days, and he was a little stinky! Jesus, however, wasn’t late! He was right on time and had been completely in control. He simply said, “But even now, God will give us what we ask.” We know the rest of the story. Lazarus walked out of that tomb alive! So, child of God, we don’t need to be discouraged over not seeing or receiving the answer immediately when we pray. Just have faith, pray, and give thanks knowing that our “But even now” answer is on the way! Remember, He is never late nor is He early, but He is always on time! Your “But even now” answer is on the way!

This past February we took a team of 17 to Honduras on a mission trip and God poured out His favor and blessings on us. We were able to minister in several mountain locations, reaching hundreds of kids. We also had a dentist and doctor accompany us and they were able to see hundreds of men, women, and children. We were also privileged to see our 53 kids we have in school and our graduates from this past school year. We witnessed God move in such powerful ways in salvations, healings, and deliverances. It truly was a great mission trip! We have enclosed pictures of our trip and hope you enjoy them.
