Honduras Mission Trip

Honduras Mission Trip Oct 5-9, 2017

Once again, we are gearing up for a mission trip to Honduras, Oct 5 -9 and we are very excited. On this trip, we will be doing clown ministry for the kids at El Rosario while spreading joy and the love of Jesus with them. These kids live in extreme poverty with no running water, no electricity and on dirt floors. So, when we can go and put a smile on their face and bring joy to their hearts, we go and consider it an honor and a tremendous blessing.

We will also have a Doctor, my son, Gary and a dentist, John Cayce (my adopted son :) ) with us. Needless to say, their days will be extremely busy as they see hundreds of patients. These precious men are very special, not only do they meet the medical needs of the people but they take the time to pray with them as well. Pastor Rusty Brady and his son, Ty and Johnny Puryear will also be with us to clown, preach and share the gospel with all the people. Such great men of God and we are so blessed to have them with us.

On the third day, we will go up into the mountains and minister to a group of kindergarten kids with games and fun activities. We will also take much needed school supplies to them. A little further up the mountain is another group of kids and we will be clowning and ministering to them while medical and dental work is going on for adults and children. Each of the places we go, we always take food, gifts and supplies and a lot of love.

Our heart is to share the love of Jesus with these precious people and be a blessing to them, just as Jesus has called us to do. And our prayer is to always be available to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those less fortunate. Please pray for us!
